SHUTTLE LAUNCH

went out to see the shuttle launch the other night. the drive out there was about 45 minutes. the drive back home was 4 HOURS!!!! that had to be the worst traffic i have ever been in my entire life. sitting right on shore watching the shuttle go up is pretty amazing.

probably one of the coolest things I have seen in wakeboarding. Incredible set up, huge crowd, right in the middle of downtown Orlando. What more could you ask for?

Just got back from the Keys. I was there shooting some wakeboarding stuff. It was my first time down there since I have lived in Florida and I have to say it's a pretty cool place. I can't wait to go back down to do some fishing and diving.

I've been back for about a week now since my trip to the Turks and Caico Islands. I was lucky enough to go there with Collin, Shane, and Ruck. WOW! What an amazing place. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a vacation spot on the water. One of the coolest places I have been to. Doug at Nautique Sports hooked us up. I can't wait to go back. And we happened to be there the weekend of a huge music festival. Did I mention we saw LL Cool J perform?





Off to the Keys this week.

I'm working on updating my website, so I have been going though a lot of photos lately. This was from last summer in Georgia on Lake Lanier. It's not every day I am shooting from a fifty foot yacht, or Travis gets to ride behind one!

CONTEST

Contest season is just starting off in the wakeboarding world, so the other day we thought we would have a friendly little fishing competition on the lake. The anglers included myself, Oli, Clint, and my neighbor Justin. Clint beat me overall catching four bass, while I caught three. I did win the largest catch with just under 6 lbs.


I knew I had the competition beat with this one. My head looks a little oddly shaped in this photo. Blaming it on the iPhone, even though it's the best phone ever.

IT HAD TO HAPPEN SOMEDAY...

...and that someday was today! Yes, I got a digital slr. The new Nikon D3 to be exact, and I must say wow! I've barely scratched the surface when it comes to using this thing, but so far I am really impressed. I can't believe how good the files look when shooting at high iso's like... 3200!!! Don't worry film, you are my first love and always will be. I will never leave you.


Besides that, my buddy Clint is in town to do some wakeskating and hanging out. So we've been fishing a bunch since he's been here. The zara spooks have been working good.

YEAAAASCH.

I finally got all my credit and debit cards back after losing my wallet. You forget how convientent the atm is when you need some cash. I still need to get a new wallet though. The rubberband is working okay for now...

New episode of the Office on Thursday!!!! I have enjoyed watching all the repeats they have been playing. It's crazy how different the characters are now, compared to the first season of the show. Anyway, Thursday night, the Office, WATCH IT!

GOOD AND BAD NEWS

I'll start with the bad news. My wallet is sitting on the bottom of Lake Brantley. So if any of you under age kids out there think you look like me, start searching near the middle of the ski course out there and if you find my wallet, you will have yourself a fake id.

On with the good news... I got an iPhone and I must say it is the best phone ever. I feel like I am walking around with a computer in my pocket. It really is the best phone ever!!! Good thing that didnt fall in the lake as well. I might have to start leaving my phone in my car when I go on the lake for now on.

I have been driving over this bridge for years now. When I was attending school out in Daytona I was on this bridge three or four days out of the week, always looking down wondering if it was easy to get a boat in, if anyone ever rode out there on the river. Well I finally made it out there! The St. Johns River is sick and I can't believe it took me this long to actully get out there.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT

My buddy Massive has been telling me for a while about all these motocross tracks and freestyle jumps him and his friends ride at and that it would be cool if I came out to shoot. Well I finally made it out there with him and I must say that shit is pretty cool. I know nothing about that sport, so it was a trip to check it out first hand. Those dudes HAUL ASS on those bikes! My first time shooting motox was pretty fun.
